Please be advised that the CSPC2023 Gala Dinner has been moved to Tuesday, November 14th. The Gala Dinner will take place in the Westin Ottawa Hotel Ballroom at 6 p.m. Should you have any questions about this, please contact conference@sciencepolicy.ca.
- Yes, there will be plenty of opportunities to network. It is recommended that you participate in the conference’s numerous seminars and panel discussions, as well as purchasing tickets for the Gala Dinner if that is not included in your registration ticket type.
- Please also note that in between panels, coffee breaks will be held in the Exhibitor Hall, where networking is encouraged.

Yes, once you purchase your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email. Please be sure to check your spam/junk e-mail if you do not see the confirmation in your inbox. Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact conference@sciencepolicy.ca.
Unfortunately, tickets are not available for sale on-site. All tickets must be purchased online, in advance.
CSPC accepts VISA and Mastercard, as well as electronic funds transfer and cheque payments.
The following meals are included with registration:
- Symposium registration includes breakfast and lunch on November 13.
- Main conference registration includes coffee breaks on Monday, as well as breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks for the duration of the conference.
- A ticket to the Gala Dinner is included in the STANDARD registration category. For all other registration categories, a ticket to the Gala Dinner must be purchased separately at an additional cost.
Multiple ticket discounts are available. CSPC offers a 5% discount on groups of 5-9 registrations, and a 10% discount for 10 registrations or more. Please contact conference@sciencepolicy.ca to request a group discount.
CSPC 2023 includes the following sections:
- Pre-conference Sessions: Nov 1st to Nov 10 (Zoom Only)
- Symposiums: Morning of Monday Nov 13 (In-person Only)
- Main Conference: Nov 13 to Nov 15 (In-Person Only)
If you would like to cancel your registration, please provide written notification by email to conference@sciencepolicy.ca
- There is a 20% processing fee for refunds on cancellations made on or before September 30, 2023.
- There is a 50% processing fee for refunds on cancellations made between October 1, 2023 – October 30, 2023.
- No refunds will be provided after October 30, 2023.
The Conference Secretariat reserves the right to cancel this program. Registrants will be notified at the earliest possible date in the event of the cancellation. The Secretariat will not be liable for any loss, damages or other expenses other than the registration fees that such cancellation may cause.
Yes, you can register someone else on their behalf by inputting their information in the required fields iin the registration form. If you are registering for more than one person, please add additional tickets to your order.
Attendees will be notified at the earliest possible date should there be a cancellation. CSPC will not be liable for any loss, damages or other expenses as a result of this cancellation other than the cancellation fees that are identified.
- Suggested attire for this conference is business or business casual.
- Gala Dinner attire is business professional.
The CSPC will be an in-person only event. Pre-conference sessions will be available only virtually via Zoom.
Travel and accommodations are not included in the conference fees. However, CSPC has secured a discounted rate for conference attendees with the Westin Ottawa Hotel, as well as transportation discounts for travel to Ottawa. Please click the following link here for more information.
