CSPC 2024 will be held in-person at The Westin Ottawa Hotel, 11 Colonel By Dr, Ottawa, ON K1N 9H4 from November 20-22, 2024.
CSPC 2024 includes the following sections:
- Symposiums: Morning of Wednesday, Nov 20 (In-person Only and is included as a registration add-on)
- Main Conference: Nov 20 to Nov 22 (In-Person Only)
You must have RSVP (standard) or have paid additional for other categories to attend the gala.
The Annual Gala Dinner will take place on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the Westin Ottawa Hotel Ballroom, 11 Colonel By Dr, Ottawa, ON K1N 9H4 from 18:30 to 21:00.Â
There will be a Gala pre-reception at 5:45 p.m. in the foyer, and the gala dinner will be held in the ballroom on the 4th floor at approximately 6:30pm. There will be a cash bar after the Gala Dinner.

Use the app to view panel session information, access Exhibitor and Partner virtual booths, use the polling, Q&A and Chat features, and set up meetings. Please use the email you have used for CSPC 2024 registration to create your profile. Please note to answer the polls during sessions, you need to have the CSPC 2024 APP downloaded.

No, the conference will be an in-person-only event. We will have virtual Pre-Conference Short Talk sessions held on November 12 and 14, to register click here.
- Yes, there will be plenty of opportunities to network. It is recommended that you participate in the conference’s numerous seminars and panel discussions, as well as purchasing tickets for the Gala Dinner if that is not included in your registration ticket type.
- Please also note that coffee breaks will be held in the Exhibitor Hall between panels, where networking is encouraged.

Yes, you can register someone else on their behalf by inputting their information in the required fields in the registration form. If you are registering for more than one person, please add additional tickets to your order.
If you would like to cancel your registration, please provide written notification by email to conference@sciencepolicy.ca
- There is a 20% processing fee for refunds on cancellations made on or before September 30, 2024.
- There is a 50% processing fee for refunds on cancellations made between October 1, 2024 – October 30, 2024.
- No refunds will be provided after October 30, 2024.
The Conference Secretariat reserves the right to cancel this program. Registrants will be notified at the earliest possible date in the event of a cancellation. The Secretariat will not be liable for any loss, damages, or other expenses other than the registration fees that such cancellation may cause.
Tickets are non-transferrable after the time of purchase and are only valid for the individual whose information is included in the registration form.
Multiple ticket discounts are available. CSPC offers a 5% discount on groups of 5-9 registrations, and a 10% discount for 10 registrations or more. Please contact conference@sciencepolicy.ca to request a group discount.
The following meals are included with registration:
- Symposium registration includes breakfast and lunch on November 20.
- Main conference registration includes coffee breaks on November 20, as well as breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks for the duration of the conference.
- Receptions: There will be one reception for FRQ, & CSPC Réception célébrant la francophonie on Thursday, Nov 21. For those who will be attending the Gala Dinner, there will be a Gala pre-reception and a cash bar post-reception after the Gala Dinner.
- A ticket to the Gala Dinner is included in the STANDARD registration category. For all other registration categories, a ticket to the Gala Dinner must be purchased separately at an additional cost.
CSPC accepts VISA and Mastercard
Registration will close on Saturday, November 16.
Unfortunately, tickets are not available for sale on-site. All tickets must be purchased online, in advance.

Travel and accommodations are not included in the conference fees. However, CSPC has secured a discounted rate for conference attendees with the Westin Ottawa Hotel and Doubletree Hilton Ottawa (formerly Novotel), as well as transportation discounts for travel to Ottawa.
